The Starter Website development service is to help you establish an
initial,
basic Web presence. Your site will be written in .html and you will own all
rights to it, so you can grow and expand your Website as your business
evolves:
- Up to five pages in your Web site
(You provide the text, in a .txt file,
for each page).
- One FormMail contact form.
- PayPal ecommerce capabilities for a single item, tied
to your existing PayPal Business Account (If you do not have a PayPal Business
Account, opening one or upgrading your personal account is simple and free).
- One image plus logo per page (you provide the images
in .jpg or .gif format).
- External cascading style sheet (CSS), for simple
site-wide changes to colors and formats.
- FrontPage includes, for simple
site-wide changes to common elements such as
navigation and copyright information.
- .html template of your choice
(Additional charge for templates over $15. Template costs generally range
from $10 to $175, depending on template quality).
- (Optional) Six months of basic hosting included free, renewable
thereafter
at $6.95 monthly subscription, or $69.50 pre-paid annually (Hosting is optional. You may
host your site anywhere you chose. The only restriction is your host must
support FrontPage extensions).
You may register your own domain name(s) through any
registrar, or -- for an additional $15 per domain
name -- Bobette can help you with the domain
registration process ($15 includes 1-year
domain registration fee).
Note: You are responsible for providing all text,
logo, and other images for the Website in digital
(file) format.
The Process
We will follow a
three-step process:
- Draft the Structure. We will agree
upon the template (or colors and site layout)
and
subject for each of the five pages and
navigation.
- Create the Website. You provide
images (.jpg or .gif) and text (.txt file).
Bobette will create the site.
- Approval. After the site is created,
you will review for changes and approve the
final version. Two rounds of
adjustments/changes are included (Additional
changes will be charged at the Website
maintenance rate of $95 per hour).
The site will be uploaded to your Web host's
server upon receipt of final payment.
$595.00 ($295 before work begins, balance at end
of project. Any template, domain or other charges
paid separately at time of purchase.)
